Duende Capital is a private markets investment firm specializing in venture secondaries and other access-constrained technology investments. Over the past 12 months, Duende has deployed more than $125 million across AI, defense, space, robotics, fintech and industrial technology. We invest from our balance sheet into select companies and venture funds, and invest alongside a global network of family offices, founders, executives and institutional capital partners through purpose-built vehicles.

Our model combines differentiated sourcing, fundamental underwriting, flexible structuring and the ability to move quickly where access and certainty of execution matter. The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of investor relations, private markets and regional market development. Designed for deeply embedded investment leaders who want to extend Duende's regional reach without stepping away from their current ecosystem.

Duende provides the investment sourcing, underwriting, structuring, diligence and transaction infrastructure. Venture Partners help us build the trusted relationships and local market presence that allow the firm to scale globally. We are initially focused on Australia, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia, with additional markets considered selectively.

All specific investment opportunities, offering materials, diligence and transaction execution are managed through Duende and its approved processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop long-term relationships with family offices, founders, executives, fund managers and sophisticated private investors in your market.
• Introduce Duende to high-quality investors, managers, founders and strategic partners within your network.
• Help communicate Duende's investment strategy, areas of focus and broader private-markets platform in close coordination with the Duende team.
• Develop a strong understanding of the investment interests, portfolio objectives and private-market appetite of relationships in the region.
• Build relationships with wealth platforms, professional-services firms and other ecosystem partners.
• Identify and sponsor high-quality private dinners, roundtables, partnerships and selective events that can deepen Duende's local presence.
• Represent Duende selectively at investor meetings, conferences and industry events, and provide perspective on regional capital markets, investor behavior and emerging opportunities.

What You Bring

• A meaningful network across family offices, founders, executives, fund managers or sophisticated private investors.
• Experience interacting credibly with sophisticated allocators of capital and discussing private-market opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, commercial judgment and the ability to represent Duende with senior audiences.
• Excellent judgment, discretion and professionalism; trust is the core asset in this role.
• Genuine interest in venture capital, technology, secondaries and private markets.
• An entrepreneurial mentality and willingness to build a market rather than simply lend your name to it.
• Deep connectivity within a specific geographic market and a clear point of view on how Duende could become useful there.

Nice to Have

• Background as a former UHNW private banker, family-office CIO or adviser, independent wealth or multi-family-office professional, successful founder or operator, private-markets investor, investment banker, or well-connected regional professional-services leader.
• Experience building an investor community, family-office network, private-market franchise or other relationship-driven platform in your region.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base / retainer: Market-specific and commensurate with experience, scope and time commitment.
• Variable: Performance bonus; carry/points participation, subject to role, geography and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Benefits: Full-time arrangements may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and flexible PTO; part-time or advisory arrangements vary by market.
